Aesthetic and Safety Improvement, SR-99

The purpose of the project is to improve traffic congestion, operations, and safety; provide facilities for transit and pedestrians; and encourage economic redevelopment along the SR-99 corridor through the city of Des Moines.

Aesthetic Guardrail Design, SR-20 - Ducken Road to Rosario

(Started 2000, Completed 2007)

The purpose of this project is to improve safety and reduce accident frequency and severity. Within this section of SR-20, a primary issue is upgrading it to bike touring standards.
